Can I put personal items in my vehicle?
Yes, you can place up to 100lbs of personal items in the trunk of your vehicle or in the back of your SUV trunk, below the window line. Items must be secured and won't be covered by insurance. Avoid placing valuables or fragile items in the vehicle during transport.
Does someone need to be present for pick-up and delivery?
Yes, someone must be present to release the vehicle at pickup and sign the inspection report. This person can be anyone over 18 years of age.
How far in advance should I schedule my transport?
We recommend scheduling about 10 days before your first available pickup date to ensure optimal pricing and timing. However, we accommodate last-minute requests frequently.
Do you offer door-to-door service?
Yes. The driver will aim to get as close to your door as legally and safely possible. If access is limited due to street width, low trees, or regulations, pickup or delivery may occur at a nearby open space like a grocery store parking lot.
Can you guarantee the pick-up and delivery dates?
No company can guarantee exact dates. If anyone does — buyer beware. We do, however, provide accurate estimates based on route and driver availability, and our team keeps you updated throughout the process.
What is the difference between Open Transport and Enclosed Transport?
Open transport loads your vehicle onto a 10-car trailer, exposed to the elements — it's the most common and affordable method. Enclosed transport places your vehicle inside a covered trailer for extra protection, ideal for classic, restored, or luxury cars.
Is my vehicle insured during transportation?
Yes. By law, all carriers must carry insurance that covers your vehicle during transit. The driver's insurance covers damage caused by their negligence.
How do I pay for auto shipping?
A minimum $200 deposit is typically required at booking. The balance is paid on delivery by cash or cashier's check. Full prepayment by credit/debit card, bank transfer, Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal is also accepted.
